Looking for custom EDC Fixed Blade

Evan

It's a RONIN Patch that looks killer on my Kitanica jacket that my lovely generous children got me for XMas. Of course I paid for it :)

Really cool jacket that is built extremely well and makes you look like a super hero :)

All kidding aside love the jacket and my kids

Thank-you. My wife did the tooling on that flower carved sheath and then I did the construction.

Haha..... the badass the jacket, the deer, the samurai thing, you (Joe), and then the penguin pillow/blanket! Love it!

Very, very nice. Simple, elegant and highly detailed. No doubt you wear it with immense pride.

Obviously, there are a lot of fine makers out there who can make what you want. I do a line of EDC's that are slightly larger than what you are looking for with an overall length of 7-1/8" with a 3-1/8" blade. They are available in drop, clip, spear, tanto and warncliffe. Each is completely handmade in CPM-S35VN, AEB-L, or 440C. Prices start at $250 including a custom Jack Andress leather sheath. My current wait is about 2-1/2 months; website in my signature.

Evan, thank-you but no that knife and sheath was an order. This is my personal EDC, I call it the Vaquero Ultralite. 5 3/8" OAL. I have big hands and it fits it well. Besides being a knife maker and leather craftsman I have a cattle ranch too. I've found this little knife up to all the tasks thrown at it. The following pic is the kind of sheath I carry it in. I call this the Horizontal sheath. Don't have a pic of my Ultralite in its sheath. This pic is a little larger knife.

My wife's leather carving has come a very long way in a short time. This is a more recent one we finished for a Christmas order. Most folks wouldn't be able to tell the difference but she would probably throw that sheath in the first pic away nowadays.

Here's the knife: 1095 and camel bone, 6.5" oal.

[*]same blade shape as Bark River PSK (what shape is that blade?)

Droppoint?

I love making small fixed blade for pocket carry.

I just updated my website with everything that's available. Have a look :-) I'm not in the same league as what some of the gentlemen are offering here in some aspects. But I love making knives for people and the fact that people use my knives and that they work well.

Good luck in your search. There's a LOT of amazing makers out there.

Regards
Alexander

I have had my buckaroo from Horsewright from a couple months now. Best knife I ever owned. The workmanship is outstanding and Nicole tools a mean sheath. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks Ol Bill. Sure glad ya like your knife and sheath.
