I have a project that I would like to get done. I would like to take a 22" Blade (27" OAL) Ontario Machete and turn the handle into a two handed micarta handled machete. The reason I want to use the Ontario is because it is a thicker 1/8" machete and has plenty of room for an extended handle. I don't think it would be too difficult of a job but it would require a bit of metal removing. I might want to add a guard as well. While I know I could do it myself, I'm too critical on my own work and would prefer someone else to do it. Anyone interested in doing the work?
