For you guys that make neck knives, where do you get your dog tag chain? I checked a few knifemaking supply places, and couldn't locate any. Lots on the web in bulk, but I don't need 170 feet of the stuff, plus I need the connector end.

I need them to be around 36" with the connector attached already.

Thanks,
Scott

no problem.

its funny how people say "its allwasy in that last place you look". well of corse it is because once you find it you stop looking.

try and find some staneless steel stuff.

Found the answer to my own question. For anyone else who might be interested: McMaster Carr. Everything you need. Search under ball chain.

Just for the record Scott I have found # 6 S.S. Ball Chain from McMaster is about the perfect size for neckers. That is what I use anyway JMHO :)

I found the ball chain at our local Orchard Hardware (by the bulk rope and chain, ask a sales person) and at Lowe's.
