Looking for Feedback on some 3D Models

I have a few printers, PM/email if you'd like a hand making a plastic prototype. Prints are typically charged by volume ( cc), I guess it would cost about $30-50 to print. Any model file (solidworks part, .stl, etc) can be ran through a "slicer" program to generate a file to send to a 3D printer.

You could always find someone with a 3-D printer to print out a copy to test ergos, size, etc. It will be a plastic knife, but infinitely more enjoyable than a 2-D printout.

Not sure how your 3-D program output would need to be converted to work with a printer...

I had access to one in college, I've thought about buying one since it was so handy!

Thanks for the offer, I may have to take you up on it once I have the designs a little more refined!

I was just checking, because it seemed that the blade was too long on the first rendering, and the tip would have hit the furthest body screw (referring to the CF inlaid one).

Of course ;)

Ok, I see what you're saying. It is pretty close, I was trying to push the blade/handle ratio.

Pretty close construction there, well if a 3D prototype is produced you could see if ones finder can make contact with the tip when rubbing your finger on that portion. That way you will knife one can get cut from doing that, just looking at it sorta reminded me of those close to 6 inch otf microtechs that say not to rub your finger on the end or you will get cut. Not sure if that made sense I'm super tired right now :).
