Looking for files to true knife blade shoulders for fitting the bolster

One of the blades I recently fit a bolster too did a number on my files. So much so that I had to take a dremmel grinding disk to knock off a high spot before going back at it with my files. As such I now need to get a new file to true up the shoulders of the blades I have on hand. Any recommendations for a good file that will last would be greatly appreciated.

Files are for removing annealed steel. Once the blade is hardened it will ruin a file if you try to file on it. Use either a belt grinder or a diamond file or plate to cut shoulders.

Thanks for the recommendation. I am looking into obtaining a carbide file guide. Will a diamond file end up chewing through the guide as well?

I use 3/32 chainsaw files. There are $.99 and I get half a dozen blades out of them. The file guide seems to be pretty hard on them. Just the price of doing business I guess. There might be better ways out there.
