Looking for first GEC

What I like about the single blades is how thin they are. it makes a huge difference in my pocket.

Oh, the trouble of choosing. It still comes down the price.
So far contestants are:

Northfield Barlow Jack 1095
Schatt&Morgan Swaback Clasp ATS-34
Queen Barlow D2

The 3 1/2" Dan Burke Barlow in Orange Sawcut bone with a large Spear and small Wharncliff in D2 is very special indeed
A very sturdy knife with an excellent F&F
Very simple in the bolster, handle, and blades with no marking on any of them
Look very nice....
Similar in size to the 2009 Forum knife
A real user and easy to carry
I recommend this one

Just got the S&M Swaybelly Clasp
It is larger and much more solid
Are you going to use it?
If so, it is not a small pocket knife
It is a larger work knife
And the blade comes out wide on the frame

neeman: S&M clasp would be nice but its too big for EDC when I consider really hard. If I try to stay 3-3,5" length when knife is closed.

I've been looking for Barlow too, so one reason Queen is on my list but I am not sure if its Dan Burke before I get the product ID from the retailer. I also agree with okbohn. Slimness is quite important for EDC and I doubt really that I'm much going to use 2nd pen blade though. Funny thing is that single blade is tad more expensive than double blade.

Wohoo. After getting full information, I am going this month Get Queen small Dan Burke Barlow 3½ closed in D2 steel and later in autumn Northfield/tidoute 250109 if they runout before i have money, I'll get 250209

Honestly, I am so sold: 3½ closed length, D2 tool steel and amber colored bone!! (amber is one of the most favourite colors ever)

Rick showed you a picture of his GEC Wharncliffe Sleeveboard and to show another of GEC's 3" framed knives, here is a picture of my GEC Wharncliffe 2-Blade Jack. This knife is GEC's 250209. The handles are Arrowhead Bone.

These are very sturdy knives and they take a great edge.

Modoc, beautiful knife. I opted 1 bladed wharnie because I rarely have use for smaller blade and 1 bladed is thinner, making it tad better EDC. Anymore such pictures and I start regretting not taken 2 blade version, oh, well, I always can get one later :D

The Queen dan barlow looks winner though: Spearpoint blade and Wharncliffe small blade. My two favourite blade types in same knife, with D2 steel and amber bone handles... Marks photo's were impressive. The Barlow looks awesome! :D
