Looking for friction folder templates and advice on hardware

There are several good you-tube videos.
I also like the books "Mountain Man Folders", and "Little Uglies". Several of the folder books have sections on friction folders. For templates and ideas, almost any regular folder plan can be converted to a friction folder.


BTW, it is PIVOT.

Thanks everyone for you help I'll let you know how I make out my pivot and lock pin will be here Monday I'll post pictures of the project along the way

One often overlooked method of making a friction folder is using a stag crown or roll and splitting it in half. That is basically what a Mountain Man folder is.

Larry Fuegen carves the crown end into fantastic dragons on his friction folders.
