This is my first post and I'm new at knife making. I'm in Denver and I have a handful of blades that I'm hoping to have finished by Christmas, but my work schedule has put me behind on getting them done in time to ship out for heat treating. I have two blades that went out to Paul Bos that I think will make it back in time, but I'm hoping to have at least two more done by Thursday if I can find someone to do the heat treat locally. They're all CPM-154 and the longest one is 13". I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

Welcome to Shop Talk.

I am moving this to The Exchange, where it might get more response.
We try and avoid any commerce in Shop Talk.

I would advise you to plan ahead in the future and start earlier. Two weeks before Christmas isn't the time to be looking for a heat treater...and they get busy this time of year, too.

Thanks for your help. I'm always planning ahead to start earlier in the future; it's the change of tense that seems to trip me up.
