I'm new to this forum and registered so I could ask the help of people that are more into knifes and might know more about the knife I've got (I don't want to know the price).
Recently my grandma passed away and I've found a knife in one of her closets. There isn't a single reference to any brand on the knife and/or the box that contains the knife. I was hoping anyone here could tell me what brand the knife is and where it was used for (I think it is for skinning ducks).
I believe the knife was originally bought in the United Kingdom, but that could be wrong.
I hope anyone of you could help me out!

Looks like a Franklin Mint or QVC purchased decoration knife. Sorry it's not worth the 4 payments of $49.99 someone played for it. If you like it use it.

I have one with wolves on it. My dad got it for me 15 years ago. Its hidden away in a drawer. Some day I'll give it to someone that doesn't know much about knives and will appreciate it for its looks.

If it is sentimental for you then keep it and put on display, unfortunately it is not worth much at all, simply because it's made to only look good, not perform well. I mean it will probably cut, but to someone who collects knives they usually will look for more than that in a blade. In short, it was probably touted to your grandmother as "every hunter's friend" when in reality it is a cheap item meant only to look nice.

Thanks for the reply's, wasn't planning on selling it anyway. Just found the looks interesting and wondered why there wasn't any information either on the knife or on the box.
Thanks again!
