Looking for hickory

they might not have it listed, the page is mostly for their burls and stuff... but check under new arrivals. and if all else fails call them because i think their acual company is a big ol hardwoods store, with a little (not so little) burl den attached thats represented by the web site.
in short. they should have it. good luck man. try not to get tooexcited ooking a that web site

The last few times I've looked for it, Crosscut Hardwoods (NW Portland) has had a small stash of hickory boards.
 
Ray, you might also check with some local cabinet makers/kitchen re-hab guys. Hickory is a common item for them.
I have a guy right across the river from me with a rack FULL of hickory.

I got a bunch of hickory! When I had my shop cabinets made, they were made out of hickory. My neighbor is a cabinet maker and custom built them. He gave me ALL of the left overs from the job. I have whole boards (nothing real long, maybe 2' to 3' maximum) that are 8" to 12" wide x 1"+ thick), plus shorter cut off ends, and long strips of various sizes such as 1" x 1", 1" x 2", 2" xz 2". Basically I've got an entire assortment of sizes and shapes.

You can have all you want for free. You can either come over and pick it up or I can get it to you. Just tell me what you need and it's yours. I do go out of town on August 22nd for a little over the week, so if you need it before the end of the month, we'll need to get it done quickly.

No big rush. I'm leaving for the Montana Show on the 23rd of this month. Maybe when you come to Blade West you can drop it off at my table. BTW I've got VIP passes if your interested.
