I purchased a knife at a knife show in the New York Hotel Back in 1978 it was made by Pat Crawford and is numbered. It has a small brass handle that fits in between your fingers. I believe it is usually called a push dagger? I don't want to sell it but I would like to know how much it is currently worth. Is there any way someone can provide me with this info or tell me where I can find it on my own. I have a photo of the knife that I will be happy to send to anyone who wishes to see it. You can e-mail me at angry01@optonline.net.

Thank you for any help you can provide me with,
Mike

Mr. Crawford is still very much an active maker. I would give him a call or shoot him an email (his website has contact info) and ask him what he would charge to reproduce the knife today, if it's a pattern that he would reproduce. It's worth no more than what it might cost to make another, except in that it may fetch a premium for being an early work by VERY popular maker.
