Well, some tech specs (steel used). IIRC, it has micarta scales-thats all I know about it. Basically anything else would be interesting to learn.

Is the model designation actually "SERE"? Were they popular (in other words, are there many of these)? Also, how much were they-I cant even recall what Ive paid for it. Ok, so theres a couple of questions! ;)

Hard core early tactical knife designed by a real SF type. Good collector value. If you search for sale forums you will get an idea of the variations and prices asked and paid for.

Many sellers quickly learn to describe the full nomenclature of the knife's components - it becomes a great way to "catalog" what you have.

3003 is a model number, I don't know them myself, but there were neoprene and micarta scales, with a couple/three different lengths, and squared off and rounded swedges. Steel is AUS6, or AM6 as it was called when used in Al Mars. I have one like that, with the SF insignia on the bolster and the round swedge, and I have an older one without the bolster image and a square swedge.

The SERE line was developed for the SERE program at Ft. Bragg by Mar and Col. Nick Rowe. The 3003 was the largest of the folders, and was made in aus-6/Am-6 steel. There is also a line of fixed blades based on the design.

Search "Nick Rowe" here and "Nick Rowe Sere knife" on google. This should give you a good amount of info.
