I came across a really neat little folding knife. It has an overall length just under 5 inches, blade length at 2. The Chris Reeve maker's mark is on the presentation side of the knife and it has circle graphics. No pocket clip but there is a small black lanyard.
I know nothing about CRK. Thanks.

Edit: See the posts below. These guys know their stuff.

I don't know of any CRK folding knife that is under 5 inches overall. The small Sebenza, small Inoski, and Mnandi are all between 6-6.5 overall.

If it has graphics then that rules out the Mnandi.

Posting photos would really help. You can upload them to a free photo hosting site (Imgur, Photobucket etc) and post them in this thread.

It is called an Umfaan. And it is a mini Sebenza of sorts. No longer produced.

That's it thanks!.. guy was asking 100 bucks for it. I liked how small it was but it felt really solid. A little beat up on the graphic side but the blade was perfect. Thanks everyone. I might just go back and get it.

So looking through the archives here, it was one with grey circle pattern. I'm going to go back to see if it's there. I don't want to rip the guy off but I thought he was trying to rip me off when he said "it's a custom knife from south Africa, the metal used is really rare like the kind used on the space shuttle."

Titanium is used on space craft.

Yes I know, but guess you had to be there. I recognized the maker's mark but he didn't know who made it, what steel it was or much else. I feel like now he was telling me a few things that stood out about what someone else told him. He had it in a tray with some old scissor and toe nail clippers, nilk nak small tools and such. I'm always on the look out for knives and flashlights of any size and era.

Are you in CO? If so let me know where this knife is so I can go pick it up.

Would totally have to have an Umfaan if it had a pocket clip, and if I did get my hands on one I would probably ruin it and drill and tap it for a pocket clip...note to all CRK members, don't sell me an Umfaan
