I've decided I'm going to get myself a new set of kitchen knives and I'm looking for a good place to read reviews.

Right know I am really looking into getting some Shuns. i.e. (pro , Pro 2, Elite , and possibly Ken Onion)
I'd like to read more about their different collections. Not too sure about the "Clad Damascus" look on some of them.

Anyway, any info would help as their web pages isn't the best to begin with.

Also I would suggest avoiding the "set". I use three knives, a santoku, nakiri, and a petty. I just don't need 8 knives. Heck the santoku will do everything. I do have others but I think they're more for show than anything else.

I have the Hattori's from JCK and the Tosagata from JWW. The Tosagata's are about 1/3 the price and very very good. I have two Shun's also and they are nice, but I prefer the other knives more.
