Hello all. I have been lurking around here for over two years, have read and re-read as much info as I can comprehend (thanks count) purchased as many books and videos as money has allowed, and have recently acquired a KMG 8, and an Evenheat 18, also have appropriate sand paper and files and 1084 from Aldo (who is awesome) I have no interest in making knives to sell, I am only interested in the craftsmanship aspect of creating something cool and useful from nothing and learning from like minded people. I am a welder by trade and am willing to swap labor for knife making help. I am located in Midland Mi.
On a side note, after all the recent goofy newbie post issues I would really like to say thank you to all the folks that make this one of the best, most informative sites on the web......and no I don't want to make a knife from an old bicycle rim and quench it in maple syrup to produce a beautiful hamon......although.......
