Good day everyone,

The title says it all. I'm heading to Venice, Italy and I'm wondering if anyone out here can point out a reputed knife or sword maker, or dealer in Venice. I realize that I'm reaching here but one never knows.

I'm leaving in a couple of months.

I don't know about Venice but Maniago is only 70 miles away and one of the great knife making centers of the world!
 
I think Del tin produces quality swords in maniago.do a.search for them and the link will come up to the site

Baffone, Grazie Mille. Unfortunately I came back last Saturday. The only sections of the city that I didn't do we're Cannaregio and the Castello. I asked around and only found cheap tourist shops. Well.... Cheap may not be the right word, nothing is cheap in Venice. Beautiful shops EVERYWHERE.

Mariutti, being in Cannaregio, I didn't get to visit:grumpy:. ....visited the internet site. They make gorgeous knives:thumbup:

I dont' move himself fropm this little island, if yopu want one of his expensive but fantastic knives, you have to come there!!!!!
