Hello everyone,
I’m looking to have a knife re-handled, a Battle Horse Knives Scout Platoon. I would like to have the existing handle replaced with a thicker handle of black canvas micarta with orange G10 liners, epoxied, with loveless bolts. Not looking to change the overall profile of the handle or length, just want it thicker (at least 1" thick).
First pic is the knife in question (at work currently, no pics of the handle looking at the spine)
Second pic is another scout platoon showing a handle taper (example before pic)
Third pic is a PLSK1 with a uniform thickness up to the guard with slight taper at the end for thumb scallops (example after pic)
Obviously the before and after pic are different knives, but gives an example of what I'm hoping to have done.
I will pay shipping both ways, and whatever fee for your materials and labor. If anyone is interested, please pm to discuss.
