Looking for knife

I only have the Benchmade small Barrage and I like even with the plastic handles. I think it would make a great general purpose knife. The assisted open feature makes it kind of fun.

In the Spyderco line, the Native 5 is hard to beat for a general purpose knife to take camping. You might like something with a bit longer blade and there are larger Spydercos if you like.

The knife I take camping and in the woods the most is a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. Always there and always reliable for cutting chores and occasional bottle opening, removal of a thorn with the tweezers, and so forth. I usually carry a moderate size fixed blade as well in the woods but seldom really have a need for it.

If you like Benchmade and want a tough folder that you could take camping then look at the Adamas. It's still, no fixed blade, but could fill in for one in a pinch.

Get a large sebenza 21 and then sign off and never come back. Enjoy the best made knife that amount of money can buy and use it the rest of your life unless you lose it, then buy another! Stick around and no matter what you buy, you will get more just to "try out"
