Hey all,
I hope this is the correct place to post this. Please forgive me if it isn't and I'll get it moved. I've got a couple antlers from a small whitetail deer I took this year, and they're too small to put up on the wall so I'm hoping a knifemaker might be able to make a knife for me using them for knife scales. They antlers are plenty long but the diameter is pretty small and there may not be a long enough straight section to get a longer scale out of. Probably less than an inch at the base. Not big enough for scales on a big fixed blade, but hopefully enough for scales on a small traditional folder.
Anyone have any suggestions on who I could talk to about doing this? I don't want to spend too much on this ordeal, definitely under $200, and I'd just like a good traditional style pocket knife for daily use.
Thanks,
Matt
