Looking for knifemakers in jacksonville, florida

I am just getting into knifemaking and am looking for someone in my area to show me the ropes. Anyone with experience that is willing to show me the basics I would appreciate. Or even new knifemakers getting into it that would want to share ideas. Ideally I would like to be an apprentice to a experienced knifemaker who would be willing to take the time and pass on their knowledge. I am a U.S. Navy veteran and am very passionate to learn the art of knifemaking now that I am out of the military. So if there is anyone out there willing to help out a fellow veteran I would be so grateful.
