Hi all! I am specifically looking for a Benchmade Doug Ritter RSK MK1 Griptilian. Here is a website showing what I am looking for:
http://www.dougritter.com/dr_rsk_mk1.htm
Any blade color, any handle color. (Uhh... except no pink ones, and absolutely NO serrations!)
I am only looking for a large one at this time, lightly used is ok, as long as its in good condition.
For this i am willing to trade ALL of the following knives (thats how bad i want it!):
ZT 0350 CB (composite blade, Cutting edge is ELMAX, and the rest is 14C28N).
I think this was a limited run, the blade says its #0290. The blade is 3 1/4" and has assisted opening. Also, the liner lock on this is super thick! The previous owner said he had sharpened it once, and i have never sharpened it. I only used it to carve a hiking stick, and it still pops hairs off my arm! Only reason I am willing to part with it is because it is kind of uncomfortable in my hand, guess it was meant for bigger paws. :grumpy: It will be sorely missed!
Here are some pics (and sorry if they are not 100% in focus, my wife's camera was not cooperating! If the pics arent working, go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/m0urning_cr0ws):
The next knife i have is actually a kit knife i got from knifekits.com, its the DDR3 RC. Its a Darrel Ralph designed knife, 3 1/2" AUS8 blade, sturdy liner lock, with layered green/black G10 scales that I shaped myself. I also put a super low ride clip, and did some jimping with a dremel. I am going to be honest, the work does not look super professional (as far as the jimping and the hole i put for the pivot), but IMHO its pretty good for being my first knife! You be the judge, here are some pics:
Last i have a Buck Vantage Pro which i modified to open the way Emerson knives do, by catching on your pocket (and yes, the mod works!). Gotta be honest, the materials of this knife are great (3 1/4" S30V blade and black G10 scales) but it was put together like a $20 knife. It has no up/down blade play, but the blade does wiggle a bit from side to side. Also, the liner lock looks a bit thin to me. Honestly, im just throwing this knife in cuz i really want that DR griptilian! Here are pics of the Vantage:
So thats it! Anyone interested can email me at m0urning_cr0ws@yahoo.com
like I said, Only the RSK MK1 Griptilian, not the regular grips! The ONLY other knife i am considering a trade for is the BM large Bone Collector with G10 scales. Other than that, thats it! Thanks for looking!!
