They are all awesome. The fancy large espada was a surprise birthday gift from my wife which makes it more special. The build quality is great. Super smooth action and solid as a bank vault. Very very sharp out of the box too

Hi All. I picked up another large folder Saturday--the Spyderco Police 4 in K390. I've been posting pics of it on several forums here, and thought that we could use a thread for pics and discussions of particularly big folding knives. My usual carry size centers right around 3.5-3.75 inches...

curious....why such an enormous folder? My fixed blades aren't that long...

For me, it's solely about aesthetics haha. Larger knives certainly lack usefulness, but having them in your collection can be cool.

Cold steel rajah and counter point XL. I think they're at the 6" mark.

The talwar XL is close at 5.5" but with a belly that goes forever so still worth a look, IMO.

the kershaw strata xl is only 5.5" - but really a nice example that uses good d2 steel and isn't so huge in the pocket
