looking for LARGE testosterone filled survival knife

Just got a four inch bladed Entrek for $45. That included a horrid kydex sheath that I tossed in favor of a modded Randall 2nd.
This knife looks like it would pop the top off a tank!

See Yaa!

Newt Livesay builds a big bowie called the HKR that would fill your bill perfectly.

You can get yourself a nice Greco Bowie for $50 right now, at www.cqcknives.com

All of the models are on sale for $50...a 'customer appreciation' sale.

What a great idea.

Dang, between the sale on Greco's and the new Swamp Rats, I feel my wallet getting a lot lighter!

hey, thanks for all the info guys. the buckmaster is what im leaning twoards. i found a few copies but the quality is bad. here is one called the ramster, check it out. http://www.fatiguesarmynavy.com/store/item/FA2125 it looks good in the picture but when you see it in person it is junk. i drove to this store, its about an hour from where i live. i wasted the trip but at least i didn't order the piece of crap.

In my opinion one of the best US factory made "survival" knives.

440 steel with an incredibly fine BB finish, very intelligently designed sheath, and a more comfortable grip than the Buck Master.

And you can find them without the saw back.

can you guys post links to the manufactures of the knives you have pictures of on the first page of this thread.

Nightkrawler: Definitely the Buckmaster! I have one, and when I got it, I was SO shocked by the sheer mass of this thing! It weighs a solid two pounds, as it is SOLID steel!!! Definitely THE best $200 I've EVER spent!!!:D

However, I also got a Strider BT, and while not as huge, it has a reputation that you can without a doubt, stake your life on. My Strider is what I carry everyday. The Buck is WAY too big (mostly too heavy) for EDC, (forget concealed). It's just SO BIG!!! :D

Get one, and you will not be disappointed. For real-life, everyday use, I'd recommend the Strider hands down.

Like I said, go with the Buckmaster and you will NOT be disappointed. VERY solid.

Chris Reeve also makes very well-respected hollow-handle knives that you are looking for. (although NOT anywhere NEAR as cool-looking as the Buckmaster, IMO!)

Keep in mind though, that the Buckmaster has been out of production for about 10 years, so it is somewhat of a collectors item. You may want to get an already used one, and perhaps a pristine one for your collection. Mine is pristine, and I've decided to keep it that way. Mine was also issued to a SEAL.

There are always several on ebay.

Good luck,
Drjones

If you are really testosterone filled perhaps you need one of these.

Here is another view of the knife Howard posted above. The three bent knives come as a single set. You may recognize the little one on the lower right. :)
