Looking for lightweight EDC blade

The knife that got me into collecting fits right into your requirements - a Kershaw Leek. They make numerous variants of blade and handle finishes and materials. The 1660CKT can easily be found for under $60.

I just found one for about half that :o guess I shoulda grabbed it lol

First post, been lurking here for a while. I would recommend the Spyderco Delica 4 FFG or the Kershaw Leek for lightweight EDC in this price range. I carry a Delica almost everyday, and IMO when all things are considered (price, quality, weight, etc) it is my top EDC blade. It wasn't my first knife, but it's the one that started my addiction.

All good choices. I think the reason why I went with the Avispa is because I like to try new things out and also the similarities with the Rat and framelock. I really like the cold steels but the coatings arent great.

I can vouch for the Spyderco Endura. I got mine over a year ago and it was my EDC blade up until Thursday when I got an Emerson. It's slim but very sturdy. Blade length is 3.75" and is VG10 steel which I find to be pretty rust resistant. I live in a very humid area in the south and have never had problems with rust even with all the pocket sweat. :P All in all it's a great blade for around 60-70 dollars.
