Looking for mini mill column support pics

Got my x2 (HF) mini mill and am getting it set up. I tried searching, but couldnt find some pics that i know ive seen in the past. From all I have read, the column needs a support built on the rear to keep it from flexing and wanted to see what some of yall have done.

Here's my brace. A slotted angle plate from ENCO(7"X8"X9"), the original bolt and a fender washer. Do not use the washer that come with the unit. Every thing attached to 1/2" plate with 1/2" bolts.
I haven't had to tram the column in 2 years.

why not use the large washer that comes with the unit over a plate like you built?
