Looking for new knife

I recently lost my prized possession in this world, my sebenza *gasp*. Now that the mourning/searching for it period is up, I think it's time for a new EDC. I've narrowed it down to three knives, a sebenza 21 with micarta inlay, Umnumzaan, or a Hinderer XM-18 spanto. I know XM is kinda the odd one out here but I qualify to buy direct from factory, so it brings the price down below the CRKs. My biggest concern with the XM is that it will be a bad slicer, since I mostly use my knives for EDC tasks it's important that it be able to slice well. I've noticed that my benchmade doesn't really cut as well as my sebenza did for being the same level of sharp, and I'm afraid a Spanto might suffer from the same issue. Anyway since I can only have one I need some help deciding, do I go for the old stand by of the 21 or try something new. Thanks.

Go with a strider SNG . Not your list but I like it better than my 21 micarta .

I've handled a strider and it just seemed too big and chunky for my liking. Though it did feel super solid and surprisingly light.

I'm in the same boat. My next expensive (200+) blade has been narrowed down to a Benchmade 761, Sebenza Tanto w/ micarta, Umnunzaan, or xm-18 bowie or Strider SMF.

I know I love m390 for the Benchmade but not a huge fan of the tip down carry.

As for the Sebenza, I know I already love CRK but I always love trying new things.

The xm-18 just seems big and bulky but still appeals to me.

As for the SMF, I don't want s30v and that seems to be all they're offering now days unless they're used..

All in all, you know you love CRK so you can't go wrong there.
