Being new to this craft and not very net savvy. I am having trouble finding a 1/8"x 6"x6" or 1/8" ?x? sheet of nickel/silver for a knife that I want to put together.
Could anyone be helpful in pointing me to a supplier.

Thanks for any response

Although you might get your answer here, any questions about knife making might get more/better answers in the "Makers" subforums. :)

Good luck in your endeavors

Thank you

Could you tell me how to move this thread to the Makers sub-fourm.

I will check out the link that you gave me.

Mods can move threads. The best way to have that done is to report the post and ask.
Then once one of us sees it we will move it. ;)

All of the knife supply companies sell sheet nickel silver. Try K&G, Jantz, TKS, etc.

Welcome to the forums

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried Jantz, Texas Knifemakers, and Knife Makers Supply. Could you tell me what K&G stands for or supply and link to them.

Ranger Original has 1/8 x 6 x 6 sheet but are in Canada. You can likely do better elsewhere if you are in the states. K&G is Knife and Gun Supply

Try Metalifferous.com
They are a jewelery supply house, but you do not have to be a jeweler to buy from them (unlike a lot of my suppliers) they have all sorts of useful stuff and all kinds of thicknesses and profiles of nonferrous metals you won't find at a knife supply place

I order all my Nickle and Silver from http://www.sheffieldsupply.com/ and fine them to be one of the best to order from. Great people to work with. But there are other's out there.

Just make sure in ordering that its 18% nickel. Hope this was of help. Be safe out there and have a great day.
