I know what I like and I really like the spyderco lum tanto folder. But my humble collection is small and o want to try other knives that are similar, the thing I like most is the traditional tanto blade shape, so if anyone has some suggestions of a similar high quality knife I'd appreciate it. The only one in the past year or so I've found is a Crawford custom folder pictured below obviously I had to have it.

Benchmade also has a Lum designed tanto that is similar to the Spyderco. Aesthetically, I prefer the Spyderco though.

CRK makes tanto versions of the Sebenza and Umnumzaan. About as high quality you can get with a production knife.

Emerson have a few different tanto models, the CQC 7, Roadhouse, CQC 15, ETAK, and the Bulldog. All a bit different regarding blade and hand profile. If the productions aren't your thing, you could always check out the customs.

I also prefer the look of the Spyderco - I just wish it had the blade steel of the Benchmade ;) The Benchmade is also a bigger knife.

You just listed the only 3 tanto blades I like. The Benchmade, Spyderco and CRK TNT Tanto.

I thought those were discontinued, I have two of them, part serrated and plain edge both in black, I like them but never for EDC

Thanks for the suggestions thus far guys I've had the benchmade lum in the past but didn't like it as much as the spyderco.
