looking for sambar

I am looking for a piece of Sambar or even a really nice piece of OLD elk. A SLIGHT taper with 1 1/8" small end to like 1 5/8" big end around 4 1/2" long, any leads would be appreciated
 
Finding one with a small end that big and tat much taper might be tough and EXPENSIVE for sambar. Let me see what I have lying around my shop tomorrow. Are you looking to do a handle where the real small end is leather, word or something like that with the fat end being stag?

Call Culpeppers and tell them what you are looking for. I bought two very nice pieces in large sizes like you mentioned from them. Not inexpensive, but very nice pieces. They sell on ebay under a pseudonym title.

I have this one. I bought it because is has tons of popcorn, but the small end said that I would either have to use it for a big integral or cut is down a bit to use it for a handle with a letter, wood or ivory "spacer in the 1 to 1.5 inch and. it is a hair under 5, but at the 4-4.2 inc mark from he big endis the 1.15 rond and at the big end it is 1.65 tall. if you are willing to make your spacper a bit longer, i weigh work. You may not be able to see this from the pic, but is has zero pith.

That's a nice piece, I'll think about that one. I still got some time to look around but If you shoot me a price ,pm. I might buy it anyway
