America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

You are kidding wondering if K&G or MSC are reputable suppliers....aren't you?
If you aren't kidding, check each of them out.
K&G is a very reputable provider of knifemaking supplies.
MSC is a fine provider of all sorts of industrial supplies.
You don't know me from Adam, but believe that both providers are fine folks!

I believe I owe you an apology, so please accept this as one. I didn't intend to come across as a smart alec. I order from K&G every few months as well as buy from them at knife shows we both attend and highly recommend them.
I order from MSC every few days to, at the least, average once a week. I have their local sales office phone number memorized and if I "get an itch" to order something at 10 or 11 at night or 6 in the morning, I go to http://www1.mscdirect.com/cgi/nnsrhm and buy, sometimes a need, sometimes an impulse to get something to fill a perceived need at the time.
If you are the kind of guy who thinks a hardware store is closer to an "adult
Toys R Us".....MSC will make you drool.....
A final mirror polish isn't really a scotch brite wheel option but you can get a pretty fine satin finish before hand sanding with some of their denser and finer
(light gray color- densness 7 or 8 or 9 and extra fine "grit") wheels.
For dings and heavier scratches, I think a belt grinder, sander, or wheel is better than starting with Scotch Brite.....it would be a 2nd step for a medium grit....red/maroon, then the fine to extra fine.
Again, sorry if I came across as a not-so nice-guy.....I'm not really that way.
Life is too short, especially for those of us who are rapidly pushing 60...to be difficult unless it is a right thing to do.
