Looking for some help with this Buck 110

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...akes-Counterfeits-amp-Americans-Who-Sell-Them

The vendor site of your knife is the first fake seller in post #1 of this buck fakes and American sellers. That seller site has a history of supporting sellers of fake buck knives and yours is another example.

If possible, please forward the name of the particular seller from the site the knife was purchased from so I can include that vendor if they are American. Simply click my avatar for my email. Thank you. I am sorry that your thoughtful, kind and generous Grandmother was ripped off, lied to and cheated by an American site. I am doing everything I can to fight this. I could use everyone's help reporting fakes and American fakers.

Good for you Oregon,

But, who are you reporting this to, I just have to ask? Awhile back there were some fake Buck knives that had been customized by the Yellowhorse clan, they had been sent the knives by one of the American cheating dealers (who sell fakes) and had no idea they were fakes. I contacted the seller who told me to shove it, I also contacted the auction site and they just ignored me. So both the seller and the big auction site were duping folks out of their hard earned money. It's totally buyer beware.

I just checked and the seller and that auction site are still selling the same high end fakes as Buck knives.

Hey guys I appreciate all of your help. I was talking to my brother who showed me his 50th anniversary model from Cabelas and there are several differences and discrepancies when I was comparing the two. Not just with the blade but with the rivets too. That's too bad. I'll be picking up a legitimate 110 this weekend because after looking at his, I've got to have one. I appreciate all of your replies.

Sorry it wasn't better news for you Jake. Please post photos of your new 110 as we'd all love to see it. Folks here are always willing to help/share so don't be a stranger.

Good question. My technique:

1. I ask the seller this question: Are you aware that your item is a fake, counterfeit, knockoff? To see fakes and their American sellers simply google buck knockoffs fakes counterfeits & Americans who sell them.

2. I report the item to ebay.

3. I report to the world, thanks to Bladeforums for taking a stand, on the thread in the Good Bad Ugly forum.

Criminals won't give a hoot. Hoodwinked sellers may care and some remove their auctions immediately and are hungry for more information to enable them to NOT sell fakes. Some fake sellers panic, notice the supermod intervention in the target thread. The auction site has taken action per feedback I've received from one fake seller.

One thing I know. Chit chat here won't do it. Individual action might. The federal and state and corporate governances are spineless against the Chinese fakers and I don't see them growing a backbone any time soon. It is up to you. The individual. One person who won't take it from the foreign financial terrorists any more. You know who I mean.

Buck Sellers Tool Box: 1. Don't buy from China, buy from reputable USA dealer instead. Buck absolutely does not distribute from China. Insert list of reputable US dealers here JB4570. 2. See rule #1. 3. See rule #1.

^^Excellent List & Info. Oregon^^
I'm sure a lotta Guys & Gals really don't consider fakes until someone tells them it looks different or you get that gut feeling that you were scamed.
Hopefully with enough info out there these dirtballs will be shutdown!

My hats off to everyone. That one would of fooled me from what I seen of it.

Bolsters look too long ,the inlay rivets near the butt look close to the bolster ,wrong stamp. They must work for free where they make them
