So I have a buck 184 that I am not that crazy about. It looks like it has been scrubbed with an abrasive brush because of the scuffs on the blade, but the edge looks clean so I dont think it has been used a WHOLE lot. The sheath is rough, but looks like it has been riding around in a truck for a decade. Lol. Anyhow, my question is if anyone knows if cerakote would adhere well to the knurling on the handle. I think If it was a totally black knife, It would appeal more to me. Like I said, Its in very very useable shape, so I think it would be a good donor for a mod, just wasnt sure about the adhesion in the knurling. I figured I'd make some custom spikes for it at the shop and send them along for coating as well. Any insight would be appreciated.

Aren't those pretty collectable? I see them all the time for between $500-$1000. It would be a shame to ruin it.

I don't think this is worth anything close to that. Those are mint condition nib knives.
