looking for some info on press

well i finally broke down and robbed the cookie jar. i ordered a 24ton press from al over at riverside machine. i was torn between this one and the claiborne press, mostly due to the fact i have a small cookie jar, so $$$ was deffinitely a concern, especially with shipping and all i was cutting it close.

anyway, this will be the first press i have ever used, i had bought all components to build the mini air-over 20ton press, just havent got to welding it up yet.

so im curious.....well maybe just overly anxious, and i guess talking about it eases the steel junkie craving i have at the moment to smash some metal

does anyone here have and use one of these regularly? on this particular style/model, what are the max size billets u can efficiently work under it?

i got more questions, but ill see if anyone speaks up with some wisdom on the topic

I have a C style press and it will squish anything I put between it. But the H style, from what I hear, are a sturdier press.
