I’ve paid to renew my membership and messaging is still blocked. Somebody help a guy out please.

You need to clean out (delete) old messages I think.
Once your message limit has been reached, it won't take more until you delete some.

Not new, total. You delete by checking the box and going to “leave conversation”.

"Leave conversation" is the how it's done. It wasn't obvious to me either.
If this doesn't solve the problem let me know, and I'll move the thread to Tech Support.
