I need someone to do a regrind on my cutting bevel...
The knife:
Tops: Hawke's Hellion 2020
Blade Length: 9"
Blade Steel: 5160 Carbon Steel, 56-58HRC
Overall Length: 14-3/4"
Blade Thickness: 3/16"
Blade Coating: Black Traction Epoxy Hybrid (Powder Coat)
After doing some research on the knife (through the company) I was informed that the angle on the bevel is 'suppose' to be 20 degrees. The actual grind on the knife is about 30 degrees...With my current inventory of sharpening stones/skill level I am unable to do this job correctly. All I want/need done is for the bevel to be set at 20 degrees per side. I'd 'like' for the knife to be finished with a 1200 degree stone then stropped but this is just my preference and isn't a necessity. Please feel free to send me quotes and a list of credentials at JHVanderwater@gmail.com
