Looking for someone willing and able to put a professional edge on my 27", straight (Not a katana) single edge blade. I live in the Kansas City area, so if you are close by, that would be preferable.

If you can help me, or know someone who would; please let me know.

Did you grind it out? Or is it a custom? I would think the maker would do it free of charge, or even the factory would be willing to hook you up?

Either way, I am sure someone will step up and put a good edge on that bad boy for you.

I don't know about anybody local, but I'd check with knifenut1013 here on the forums, and the Maintenance, Tinkering and Embellishment subforum here as well. While the guys there may not sharpen for a living, I'd much rather a well-informed amateur who's enthusiastic about blades and sharpening (knifenut got my blade readily whittling hair, and that's not that unusual for him) sharpen my knives than some bozo at the hardware store who just whacks it on a bench grinder.
