Looking for someone to rescale my knives...

I have a Knives of Alaska Alpha Wolf and a Knives of Alaska Jaeger that I would love to put orange scales on as I am tired of losing them. Can someone point me in the right direction or is there anyone here that does this kind of work? Here are a couple of stock pics of the knives...Thanks

It would be a lot cheaper to do it yourself.

Cheaper and more fun.

What you need:

Drill, files, epoxy, sandpaper, orange handle material.

Has anyone done a write up on doing this before? I am sure I could handle it but would be a touch nervous about screwing it up...

There is someone on ebay that sells a cheap ($3, I think) video of how to do it. I've got it somewhere and it was nice to see before starting.

If you choose to do it yourself.....here is a link to a tutorial for mounting handles on a full tang knife:

You could do one piece scales rather than the bolsters & liners.

Orange G-10 can be purchased from most of the knife suppliers (Knifemaker.ca if your in Canada and in the US there is Texas Knife, Jantz, USAknifemaker.com and many others).

If your looking for a knife maker to do it there are lots of them here who are capable.
