Looking for something

I have them all marked with masking tape that has the name of the knife:p even the cardboard;). Yes it took about 90 minutes to drag them out and line them up. :grumpy:

Thanks for the kind comments about the collection. I find that after you make good HOG friends here the knives have a way of showing up.

Many of these knives have great personal value because of the cool people they came from.
.

edit: that reminds me, Guyon needs to sell me that Satin BA-III:foot:.

What I remember about taking pictures of nekid knives is how tough it was figuring out just what knife to put back into which sheath.

Busse has made all that easier by not bothering with sheaths the last What? five years?

Still you have enough older knives there to still possibly have you scratching your head a bit as to just what sheath goes to what knife.

That picture represents a lot of work, just getting them out and putting them back.

You have some great and hard to find knives there, Gratz.

Though you probably didn't mean me :p

Goes both ways, there's a grail knife on that table that I once owned.

Makes me happy every time you post a picture of it.:cool:

;)

Tony,

This is so true.
I have a few that I consider "PRIZED" due to the fact that they came from friends on here whom I've never met in person.
To all the great HOG's out there:

Hey although it would hurt, if you ever really want it back let me know and we'll make it happen. I often look at these knives as not really being mine.

Incredible! I am amazed and envious of your collection. I hope you have a good safe and insurance. This table would trade for a small house in parts of the country! I'm downloading this picture for the next time the wife says I have too many :-)
Have you estimated the current going value of this collection? Ah, to play with INFI is like taking a Zanex! NICE COLLECTION! How long has this taken? I hope you got those oldies back in the 90s!

Yeah, we just rent INFI !

First right of refusal works for me.

Figure if you're ever wanting to part with it, in fine Hog tradition, you'd give me the first opportunity.

Don't worry. It's going in my will that you get it as long as I die of natural causes.

However, another stipulation is that an intensive investigation follow my death no matter how it looks. :D

What if they don't find the body at the bottom of the lake.

Hey Lake Tahoe has HUGE lake trout.... and it is about 3,000 feet deep.

Want to go fishing? :D

that reminds me one day in college a bunch of dudes were hanging out and one said to the rest:
"hey if you guys went camping and woke up with your azz propped up and your pants around your ankles with kY all over you, would you tell anyone?"

The answer from everyone was "NO!"

so he said:

"you guys wanna go campng?"

of course Tony has never said this before:foot: but he has said that there are only two things that come out of Texas......and Xaman was one of them.

I hope when I show that picture to my wife, she'll be a little more understanding.
BTW. Can anyone beat THAT!!

yes, last year I had more BM's than he has Busses now but this year is a different story as my collection has dropped by two thirds or more.

old world craftmanship is the only thing explaining the fact that the table is still standing!

which side of the fault line are you on TG??

cause you might cause California to fall in the Pacific

:D:D Now that was funny.....

Is this the largest private collection? Who has the most?

Makes me feel all nice and frugal.....like I have'nt over spent and don't have a problem!!:D:D
