looking for source of small guage paracord

I think good place to look would be an outdoors or climbing store, or a place that handles that stuff on the web. Look for "Accessory cord". They usually come in several diameters, solid black, and nice patterned colors.
 
I just bought three different colors of cord from "REI" in 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm diameters. Cost was about 0.15 cents per foot. I beleive they have a website if they are not in the town where you live.

Para cord has to be one of the best utility cord made. Even though it was made for chutes.
