Big Chris makes an custom Wharcliffe with excellent ergos and performance. Mine has a 3.5" blade, is 7.75" overall and has CPM 10V steel which is about as super as it gets. This one is .150" thick and leans towards a sheepsfoot, but Chris can make it more pointy and thinner if you wish.

Awesome tips guys. Ill probably look into one of those makers too eventually and get a more upgraded steel someday. Im starting to get the itch for custom work....
