Looking for suggestions for USA made folders

There are going to be a lot of higher end USA made knife companies out there, a lot of great ones mentioned. In the level of Chris Reeve, Hinderer etc. you are going to find a lot of different flavors of perfection.

It's going to be a lot like debating a favorite car company, or if redheads are better than blondes, a lot of what you'll find at this level will come down to personal taste.

Unfortunately with knives you will need to have them in hand and use them for a time to get an idea for how you feel about them. Even when it comes to a great company, different people are going to prefer different models. I don't really care much for the Sebenza from CRK, but the Umnumzaan and Inkosi are some of my favorite knives.

Fortunately, you can usually sell quality knives and make back a majority of what you spent if you find a certain model or company not to be your style.

I'll be an odd one out here and throw in a vote for Medford Knife and Tool, he may not be everyone's cup of tea in personality and in his design language but he makes a damn good knife.

In my humble opinion, I think that Holt today are the number one made in the USA, if you can get into Canada, I think Grimsmo is a little above the majority, greetings!

Among a collection of dozens of mid-techs, my McNees gen. 2, 3.5” with the frag pattern scales has been by my side far more than the next closest blade in the bunch. I appreciate it more with each passing day, too. Incredible blade-to-handle ratio. Wonderful pocket knife.
