Looking for suitable folder for small jeans pocket

I'd say a Spyderco. Kiwi, Lava, Spin, Polliwog- any of those would work for the watch pocket.

Fallkniven U2. Fits great in my jeans right front pocket. Only 3 3/8" long for 2.5" blade (2 3/8") cutting edge. Xlnt quality. No clip means less space but could be disadvantage if you wanted to clip to your pocket. Not one handed opening could be disadvantage but also adds to the compactness. Drop point blade.

Best I've seen for under $15.00 is the Ka-Bar 2745/2746 lockbacks. I buy them as gifts for family & friends.

Might have a hard time cramming that into your watch pocket.

My choice? The CRK Umfaan is perfect. Otherwise, a CRK Mnandi.

Fits great in my watch pocket (spyderco delica 4) and doesn't cost a mortgage payment :)

love this knife!

cheers,

I too will have to recommend the Fallkniven U2. I put a lanyard on mine too and it just fits nice and snug in that pocket. The edge of this laminated blade is hardened to 64Rc and THAT'S HARD! It is nice and light so you don't even know it's there half the time. I have so many Fallkniven knives that I can't remember how many I have but I aways know where my U2 is.

Watch pockets are bigger than you think. I can clip a mini grip and a delica 4 into blue jean watch pocket at the same time in my size 36 jeans.

Another vote for the ultra-thin stainless steel Cricket. A super sharp cutter with a stout little framelock - so light you'll forget it's in your watch pocket.

Another one that just came to mind is the discontinued Spyderco Toad.
Extremely cool little knife.

I cut the bottom out of my watch pocket so that it hold any reasonable length knife. For example it will hold a Spyderco Military.

that is a good idea. I heard that applegate, fairbairn or sykes (I can't remember which) cut a hole in their pants pocket to accomodate a shortened version of the commando dagger.

The A.G. Russell One Hand Knife (small version) fits perfectly in the change pocket. It is a great little knife.

I carried a Microtech mini udt in my change pocket for years....fit real nice:D

I guess it's now called the mini ums....

Forgot about the Boker Subcom. I would get that. Plus it's made by a forumite of ours. :) Chad LOS BANOS

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but the Navigator is yet another diminutive Spyderco that works well in a fob pocket, either with or without its clip.

The smaller Mcusta knives are great gent’s folders and easy to carry in a watch pocket. You have to be careful with the clipless ones though; they can accidentally fall out when you drop trou. ;)

I just tried putting my new Benchmade 707 in the fob pocket of my jeans and it fit perfectly. It has a relatively tiny, little handle for its overall size.
