I'm currently on limited means since moving north but have a project for a tolkien society to display a dwarven inspired piece. Need a piece of 5160 or 1095 (only steels I really work with but open to others) in the dimensions of 26" x 2.5" x .25" to match fittings I've already made. If you know a supplier that doesn't want to sell me 40' min please contact me.

The NJ Steel Baron has 1095 that pretty much matches your dimension (except it is 48" long) for a price of $47.67
You might want to give him a call to see what he has that's not posted on his website (973-949-4140). Best of luck!

If you check with spring shops who rebuild springs for trucks, you might find what you are looking for. They will most likely have 5160 or 1095. Not all spring shops make their own springs so you may have to call several.
