im looking for suggestions for an EDC tactical neck knife that I can carry IWB thanks in advance!

Spartan Enyo and/or CQB. Lt Wright Skeleton Key. American Kami GITFO. Benchmade SOCP. Josh Gallardo Pocket Buddy. To me, tactical implies the inclusion of a swedge. Or choose a maker to see if they would be willing to craft one to your specs. I just PMd Kornalski earlier to see if he would be willing to customize a CW in V4E at 165mm OAL.

+1 Spartan enyo
I've got one and tend to carry it handle down outside waist band on my right side but there are numerous ways you can carry it and all the ones I've tried were comfortable. Not to mention it's super sharp, s35vn, super pointy as well, there are times when it has a kiridashi feel. I don't carry it that often, but when I do it's surprisingly handy and comfortable.

I'm not fond of neck knives. But, I've carried this fixed blade in crossdraw carry on my belt since the day it arrived...many months ago. Bradford Guardian 3 fixed blade...designed for belt carry cross-draw. A great way to carry.

Many years ago I bought one of the original HAK's from frontsight, been carrying it around the world ever since. If you can still find them, those are excellent!

Spyderco Street Beat. Fits the hand (my hand, at least) like no other knife, excellent grip retention, and the G clip allows you to switch from IWB or OWB without any hassle.

Looks to me that neck knives with pistol grips are all the rage at the moment.

Akthough, an Estee Candiru is an all-around versatile knife that can be worn pretty much anywhere limited only by ones imagination.

It can be worn either around neck, waste, ankle, or even taped on your back, McClane style.

Oooh yeah, yippee kai yay, muthaf-.

Every suggestion has been good.

Perrin La Griffe/ Brous Silent Soldier type.

Or Benchmade SOCP

I love the Enyo and the Guardian 3 too but the handles are not ideal for self defense use as there is so little protection from sliding forward onto the edge with these knives.
