Looking for the best price on an XM-18?

I will be getting a semi-custom knife soon, and am deciding between a Strider SNG and an XM-18. I would prefer the XM-18, but don't know the best place to buy them, or the lowest price they can be had for (note: I am not Military or a first responder so I cannot get Hinderer's discount for that).
 
Honestly the only place to find one is on the forums.Right now the going price for an XM18 is somewhere between $750-$900.The only site that seems to get them on a somewhat regular basis is Arizona Custom Knives.Good luck in your search.....Honestly, I'd get a Strider.Half as much, easier to get and just as tough.
 
Find your way to a knife show where Rick is selling them. You'll save yourself $400 and have a fantastic time in the process.

(He sells them for around $500 at shows, military/LEO or not.)
 
Unless you can get to a show get the strider. Both are great knives imo. Ive had both i personally like the strider better mine is a smf. If your going to spend 725 for a knife you can get a custom for that.
 
I've had numerous Striders and Hinderers and prefer Strider. There are many reasons, but the best thing to do is go to a show or find someone local who has both and handle them both.....best and cheapest way to determine your likes and dislikes.
