Looking for the perfect edc knife

Other nice EDC knives I own and recommend. ZT 0450, ZT 0450cf (light and nice)
ZT 0460ti (20CV steel, bearings run on all steel surfaces so action is fantastic...
discontinued and now on sale. Style is polarizing...love or hate) Ultra recommended!
 
You might be happier with something more solid for an edc and camp knife. The bugout is great but it wasn’t very comfortable for me.

I would see if you can check it out first. A Para 2 or Para 3 lw for weight might fit. Griptilians are also very light while being very solid.

Why on earth do you "need" to change the scales??

:) Especially for the "camping " , by far the best available within your price range , IMO = Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter . :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I really like the orange handle version but comes in black , also .

Great steel , strongest lock in existence that doesn't require a pin or secondary lock , very ergonomic handle that won't sore you hands with prolonged actual work .

 
Imo camp knife/ edc knife are 2 completely different requirements. Not one in the same. So for camping I reccommend a fixed blade and for edc I reccommend a folder. The high end of your price perameters($250) will afford you both if you choose wisely. For fixed blades May I reccommend an Esee izula, Esee 3,4,6 or Benchmade hidden canyon-on sale for less than $100 right now! For folders I reccommend pretty much anything from spyderco. Manix and the native are my favorite
 
P.s......I don't believe there exists a perfect edc. If it did, people wouldn't t have the extensive knife collections they do....it's part of the fun of this hobby
