Looking For The Perfect Knife, Can You Help?

Thanks guys for the help. I'll be looking hard at the ZTs you suggested. I'm not familiar with ZT560, I think the ZT 350 is a bit short if I recall. And yes, the Boker 101 is tip-up only. I have A RAT 1 and it's very close, as mentioned, it's a bit slick and the blade a bit thin. My favorite so far is a BLACKHAWK! CQD MkI Type E. Great grip surfaces, beefy blade, strong lock-up. If I could stop the glass breaker from chewing up my clothes and furniture, it would be perfect.

Sounds like you need a Spyderco Military to me.

Great knife, and seems to fit your needs.

Gee, you guys are great! I really apprecieate all the help. I like the Spyderco knives, but opening them often ruds my thumb disconcertantly against the edge. I have a Tenacious (and everyone should) that I carry as a back up, but rarely as a primary. I am not seeing the ZT0560 Hinderer serrated anywhere but I think the ZT200 might fit the bill. Thanks again, guys!

that zt 200 is nice but it's too heavy and bulky and it feels that way in your pocket. mini griptilian would be a better choice.

If you want to spend some money I'd suggest the Begg Bodega Field Grade, but I don't know if there's a serrated version. Probably not yet, but maybe in the future. Pretty close to the ideal knife, though. He's gone one up on the lock bar insert and just has a replaceable Ti lock bar. And the N690Co steel is tough, holds an edge, and is very corrosion resistant.

Zt 0200 blem from kershawguy. Cheap and VERY effective. It fits almost ALL your criteria.

LOL, yeah right.

Dvery time I slice something with this knife it's like cutting butter.

I have two bokers and ive tried a few others. if you have a favorite brand that say someone on amazon put a 1 or 2 star review onamazon because they got a lemon... im that person with bokers lol. i just have had nothing but bad experiences with. i like how they look a lot, i love german makes, theyre not expensive, but terrible quality
