Looking for tomahawk makers

Check Fort Turner. Reasonable cost and good steel. His hawks are all forged I believe.

Looks like they do polled versions of their main models.

I can get "behind" that.

I was in a shop today in my town, and was surprised to see 4 or 5 tomahawks from H&B Forge. I really didn't get a chance to examine one, a text cut my visit short. I will probably go back this weekend to check them out a little closer. The prices were very reasonable. Might have to add one...

I have a couple of Fort Turner tomahawks and they are really nice.
I used to recommend the maker, Dana Turner highly.
However about 3-4 years ago people started reporting that he would take the full price up front, then he would not deliver the goods for years!
Look up the threads on the Good, Bad and the Ugly subforum.
It is a shame because his hawks are really good.
