Just thought I'd give this a shot. Looking for a good used digital multimeter. Any decent brand considered, have lots of stuff to trade. Fluke, Tek, BK, etc preferred.

I seldom find good deals at pawn shops but over the years I have consistently seen nice Fluke DMMs. My last two were from pawn shops.

My current one (pun?) is a 73 III for which I paid $60. Like new...

Not trying to hijack a thread but hopefully the advice helps.

I haven't had a lot of luck around here with pawn shops, unless you like overpriced contractor tools with the serial numbers mysteriously wiped off.

Yikes!!! I understand... I keep seeing where other people find great deals on knives and guns in their area pawn shops. Here? Nothing but retail+ for beat up gear.

Best of luck!

If you're interested, I've got a FLUKE 27/FM.

It's a few years old but works just fine...... I'll even clean the dust off if you want.

Drop me an email Berdar at Gmail.com

Looks like I might be set for now, but if anyone else feels like trading a meter I'd at least listen.
