Actually, I just wrapped the handle of my Becker Necker, but wasn't satisfied with the way it ended. You know, that large ugly knot, so I used a button slide from the lanyard strap on my light and took care of the knot, but looking at the entire wrap, I'm wondering if their are alternative patterns and who might be able to point me to them. :)

Here's what I've got now....shown with other items.

You know I'm looking for the same thing for my CRKT dogfish to wrap too. But the becker looks awsome like that. I don't think I would change it.

I bought a Becker Necker from dfcrane here on the boards that he cord wrapped, and I really thought he did a good job. As a matter of fact I need to send him an E0mail and see if he has any instructions on how to do it. I have another knife I would like to wrap the same way.

runningboar, the light is a 1 watt that I picked up at Target. Named River Rock and made by Nuwai. The Nuwai X-1 is the same light, except for cosmetics. 1xAA cell for power and it is regulated so that max output is obtained from the power source. If I remember correctly, it cost me about $23.00 retail.

Tolly, if you get a diagram on how to do the wrap, please post it.:)

I wasn't too happy with the feel of a skeleton handle, so I wound up wrapping my BK 11 in the simplest way possible...done with the cord that came with it. Wins no beauty contests but it feels great now. (crap pics sorry)

Apparently I'm too inept to get the Strider style wrap done or any other, but longbow your wrap job looks absolutely boss. Those slide buttons look handy I need to find me some of those.

the strider -style is really simple, and what I like in it, that the wraps have a "meaty" center-line, what gives a more fuller, secure grip.
